Swire Shipping has announced revisions to selected service charges affecting cargo moving through South Korea and Kiribati, with the new fees taking effect from July 1, 2026.
For non-containerized cargo arriving at or departing from all South Korean ports, the carrier will revise its Port Service Charge (OPS/DPS) to KRW 7 per revenue ton (RVT).
The updated charge applies to all South Korean ports and follows a review of the costs associated with providing port services.
Separately, Swire Shipping will revise its Agency Fee (AFP/AFC) for cargo moving to or from Kiribati.
Effective July 1, 2026, the agency fee will be set at AUD 50 per bill of lading for all applicable shipments.
The carrier noted that trade lanes regulated by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) will remain subject to the applicable regulatory notice requirements.
