
Ocean Network Express has announced the launch of its new Mediterranean Africa Express (MAX) service, aimed at strengthening connectivity between key regions including Far East Asia, Northern Europe and West Africa.
The new service is designed to enhance network efficiency through the use of Algeciras and Tangier as strategic transshipment hubs, offering improved transit times and increased capacity to support evolving supply chain requirements.
The MAX service will operate on a weekly basis, with a rotation covering Algeciras, Tangier, Dakar, Tema, Lekki, Abidjan and returning to Algeciras.
The first call at Algeciras is scheduled for July 7, 2026.
With this launch, Ocean Network Express continues to expand its service portfolio, providing more reliable and flexible connections across major global trade lanes.
