

HMM’s labour union has dropped its opposition to President Lee Jae-myung’s plan to relocate South Korea’s flagship container line from Seoul to the port city of Busan.
The direct economic benefits Busan can expect over the next five years include KRW10.7 trillion (US$7.4 billion) in production and value-add, as well as the creation of around 16,000 jobs.
