Fujairah Terminals signs land lease agreements to expand logistics capabilities

Fujairah Terminals, part of AD Ports Group, has signed three strategic land lease agreements with Fujairah International Airport, Fujairah Free Zone Authority and Al Dahra Agriculture Trading.

The agreements aim to strengthen logistics connectivity and support trade growth across regional and international markets.

The leased areas cover a combined 130,000 square meters and will support the expansion of logistics and industrial operations linked to Fujairah Terminals.

The company said the agreements will improve supply chain integration, infrastructure utilization and logistics efficiency across Fujairah.

The move also supports the UAE’s strategy to strengthen supply chain resilience and economic diversification.

“This collaboration marks an important step in advancing Fujairah Free Zone Authority’s mission to provide an integrated, business-friendly environment,” said H.E Sharief Habib Al Awadhi, Director General of Fujairah Free Zone Authority.

Captain Mohamed Al Yahyaei, CEO of Fujairah Terminals, said the agreements strengthen Fujairah’s role as a regional and global trade gateway.

“By expanding partnerships across logistics, infrastructure, and key industries, we are enabling greater connectivity and enhancing supply chain resilience,” he noted.

Arnoud van den Berg, CEO of Al Dahra Agriculture Trading, said the agreement aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to support resilient supply chains and sustainable growth.

Located on the UAE’s eastern coast, Fujairah Terminals serves trade routes connecting the GCC, India, East Africa and the Red Sea region.

The terminal handles container, general cargo, Ro-Ro and cruise operations through a 1,000-meter quay with a depth of 15 meters capable of accommodating larger vessels.
