CMA CGM has announced a new Rate Restoration Initiative, known as RRI02, on several trades from the United States.
The new charges will apply in addition to the carrier’s previous Rate Restoration Initiative.
RRI02 will cover all cargo except special equipment and out-of-gauge shipments.
RRI02 effective from 27 August
From 27 August 2026, CMA CGM will apply the following charges:

Additional RRI02 from September
From 15 September 2026, CMA CGM will introduce an additional RRI02 from the US East Coast to North Europe.
The carrier will charge US$50 per 20-foot container and US$100 per 40-foot or 45-foot container.
This increase will also apply to all cargo except special equipment and out-of-gauge shipments.
