Rohlig SUUS Logistics opens subsidiary in Uzbekistan

Rohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a new subsidiary in Uzbekistan, strengthening its presence in Central Asia.

The new entity is based in Tashkent and provides end-to-end logistics services across the Uzbek market.

The company said the expansion reflects the growing importance of Central Asia as businesses seek more resilient and diversified supply chains amid geopolitical uncertainty.

The new branch offers international road transport, domestic distribution, sea freight, rail freight, air freight, intermodal solutions, warehousing and customs brokerage services.

Rohlig SUUS Logistics said it combines its in-house expertise with the global Röhlig network and local partners in Uzbekistan.

“In the face of ongoing geopolitical shifts, companies are focusing on building resilience and business efficiency,” said Andrzej Kozłowski, Member of the Management Board at Rohlig SUUS Logistics.

“At SUUS, we recognize strong potential in Central Asia. Following Kazakhstan, we are now expanding our focus to Uzbekistan.”

Erik Aitzhanov, Managing Director Uzbekistan at SUUS Logistics, said Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly important market for international companies.

“Uzbekistan is currently a fast-growing economy in Central Asia and the most populous country in the region,” Aitzhanov noted.

“We are observing increasing interest from global companies entering the Uzbek market, all of whom require a reliable partner with strong local expertise.”

Rohlig SUUS Logistics currently operates in nine markets across Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including Poland, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The company employs more than 2,600 people across over 40 branches.
