MSC has replaced Abu Qir with Damietta on its Mediterranean–US East Coast (EMUSA) service, according to DynaLiners.

The revised service rotation is:

Tekirdağ – Izmit (Gebze) – Damietta – Ashdod – Haifa – Gioia Tauro – Livorno – Marseille – Barcelona – Valencia – New York – Philadelphia – Norfolk – Baltimore – Charleston – Savannah – Freeport – Tekirdağ.

The adjustment gives Damietta a direct connection with several Mediterranean gateways and six ports on the US East Coast.

The service also maintains a call at Freeport in the Bahamas before returning to Türkiye.
