NORDEN strengthened its fleet with the purchase of four Handysize dry cargo vessels.
The vessels were built in 2024 and are scheduled for delivery during the second quarter of 2026.
The new ships feature open-hatch and box hold capabilities, allowing NORDEN to handle specialised cargoes and offer more flexible transport solutions to customers.
The acquisition expands NORDEN’s operated fleet, which currently includes around 450 vessels.
The company said the investment supports its strategy of selectively growing in segments with strong customer demand and attractive long-term market fundamentals.
NORDEN also highlighted positive conditions in the Handysize market, including an ageing global fleet and a limited orderbook, which continue to support demand for modern and fuel-efficient vessels.
