Erasmus Shipinvest has expanded its containership orderbook with two additional feeder vessels at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding, according to DynaLiners.
The Athens-based non-operating owner has ordered another two 1,900 TEU containerships. The agreement raises its firm orders for this vessel type at the Chinese shipyard to six.
Erasmus Shipinvest also ordered two 1,800 TEU containerships earlier in 2026.
As a result, the company now has eight firm containerships on order at Huangpu Wenchong, along with options for another six vessels.
