Noatum Logistics has launched Fairs and Events Logistics as a dedicated business line with its own leadership team, product organisation and growth strategy, bringing together specialised exhibition expertise with the scale and reach of its global network to serve customers across international exhibition markets.
The new business will be led by an international management team comprising Lars Pohlmann as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fairs and Events, Derek Cassidy as Vice President of Global Fairs and Events Product Management, Luke Wrigley as Head of Global Operational Process and Head of UK, Christine Pan as Head of Greater China, and Ozkan Aksoy as Head of Global Business Solutions and Head of Benelux.
At launch, teams will be based in Germany, the United Kingdom, Greater China, Benelux, the United Arab Emirates and Iberia, supported by Noatum Logistics’ wider operational network.
The business builds on an established UAE-based Fairs and Events Logistics operation with a track record serving major global events including the International Defence Exhibition and Conference and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition.
This experience underpins the company’s ambition to extend a proven service model to customers worldwide, going beyond traditional freight forwarding to deliver integrated, tailored services with consistent local execution across markets.
Thorsten Meincke, Executive Vice President of Air and Ocean Freight at Noatum Logistics, described growing complexity in exhibition logistics and increasing organiser and exhibitor expectations for seamless cross-border execution as creating a clear opportunity for a truly international provider combining specialised expertise with global network scale.
Lars Pohlmann emphasised the importance of precise planning, reliable local execution and experienced on-site teams, and described the company’s goal as building one coordinated global organisation serving the world’s major exhibition markets through targeted investment in people, structure and capabilities.
