MSC will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from North Europe to Canada and Mexico.
The origin scope includes the United Kingdom and ScanBaltic region.
MSC Peak Season Surcharge levels
The surcharge will apply from 1 September 2026, based on the sailing date. It will remain valid until further notice.
MSC will charge:
- US$600 per 20-foot dry container
- US$1,000 per 40-foot dry or high-cube container
- US$1,200 for reefer and special equipment
