Maersk raises Felixstowe emergency fuel surcharge

Maersk will increase its Emergency Fuel Surcharge at the Port of Felixstowe from £3.82 to £4.13 per laden import container.

The revised charge will take effect on 1 October 2026, following an advisory update issued by Hutchison Ports.

The increase amounts to £0.31 per container.

Maersk said another review will take place on 15 October to determine the surcharge level applicable in November 2026.
