Maersk introduces Peak Season Surcharges to Far East

Maersk is introducing a peak season surcharge (PSS) from South Europe (Excluding Ukraine and Sokhna, EG) to Far East Asia (Excluding Taiwan) for all dry container’s effective from 16 March 2020 and South Europe (Excluding Ukraine and Sokhna, EG) to Taiwan for All Dry containers effective from 4 April 2020.

In addition, Maersk is introducing the Peak Seasonal Surcharge (PSS) for All Dry in Ukraine to Far East Asia effective from 1 April 2020 to 15 April 2020.

The Danish shipping company is also introducing a PSS from Egypt to Far East Asia (Excluding Taiwan) for all reefer container’s effective from 16 March 2020 for all corridors.
