Maersk expands North American e-commerce delivery through Shipstore

Maersk has partnered with shipping automation platform Shipstore to expand access to its e-commerce delivery services across North America.

Through the integration, Shipstore customers can access Maersk’s delivery network directly from the platform they already use to manage orders and shipments.

The partnership targets high-volume parcel shippers seeking to manage multiple delivery providers through a single system.

Integration combines shipping and order management

Shipstore allows customers to apply their own business rules to parcel orders while generating shipping labels, documentation and tracking information through one workflow.

Businesses with an existing Maersk delivery programme can now manage those shipments through Shipstore alongside other carriers.

“Customers are looking for shipping solutions that are easy to use and can grow alongside their business. Through our collaboration with Shipstore, we’re making it easier for online businesses to connect with Maersk’s delivery network through a platform they already know and trust,” said Prashant Shah, Head of E-Commerce for North America at Maersk.

The integration forms part of Maersk’s investment in digital logistics solutions and connected e-commerce platforms.

“Adding Maersk’s delivery capabilities to the Shipstore platform gives our customers access to a trusted logistics provider, while allowing them to continue managing shipping through a single, familiar platform,” said Nick Osbern, President of Shipstore.

Maersk’s North American e-commerce operations cover inventory management, fulfilment, transportation and final-mile delivery. The company currently handles more than 10 million e-commerce parcels annually across the region.
