Maersk announces operational adjustments to Tango service

Maersk has announced a series of updates to its Tango service covering terminal changes, rotation adjustments and port coverage revisions, aimed at improving operational efficiency and schedule reliability.

Effective with the Maersk Fortaleza voyage 622S, arriving Jacksonville on June 2, the Tango service will shift its Jacksonville call to Blount Island Terminal.

The rotation sequence between Montevideo and Buenos Aires will be adjusted effective from Monte Alegre voyage 620S, with Montevideo now called prior to Buenos Aires. The change is designed to improve schedule reliability and optimise cargo connectivity within the River Plate region.

Norfolk will be discontinued from the Tango rotation. Maersk will maintain coverage for Norfolk cargo via Cartagena, ensuring continued connectivity for affected shipments.
