Hapag-Lloyd has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new bookings to and from Cuba following the Executive Order issued by the United States on May 1.
The carrier said it is currently assessing the situation to determine whether services involving Cuba can continue in the future and under what conditions.
Customers with existing bookings or cargo linked to Cuba have been advised to review their shipment planning and contact their local Hapag-Lloyd representatives for further guidance.
The company added that additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
