Hapag-Lloyd will introduce an East Coast South America PSS on dry container shipments to destinations across the Americas.
The surcharge will apply from 5 November 2026 for 30 days. It will cover long-term shipments only.
East Coast South America PSS rates

The East Coast South America PSS will apply to shipments bound for:
- United States
- Canada
- Mexico
- Caribbean
- Central America
- South America West Coast
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Suriname
Hapag-Lloyd did not include short-term shipments within the scope of the temporary surcharge.
