Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) will divide its Colombo Cochin Gulf (CCG) service into two separate loops focused on India’s eastern and western coasts.
The revised GFS CCG service will use three vessels across the two rotations.
New GFS CCG service structure
The eastern loop will operate weekly with two vessels of approximately 3,400 TEUs each.
Eastern loop: Colombo – Visakhapatnam – Kattupalli – Colombo – Kochi – Visakhapatnam – Kattupalli – Colombo.
Meanwhile, the western loop will operate every ten days with one vessel of approximately 2,700 TEUs.
Western loop: Colombo – Mundra – Pipavav – Mangalore – Kochi – Mundra – Colombo.
The revised GFS CCG service separates the carrier’s eastern and western Indian port coverage into dedicated rotations.
