Hapag-Lloyd will introduce an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge for exports from Luanda, Angola, to destinations worldwide.
The Luanda equipment imbalance surcharge will apply exclusively to 20-foot dry containers and remain effective until further notice.

- North America: 8 November 2026
- Latin America: 8 November 2026
Hapag-Lloyd has not extended the surcharge to other container sizes or equipment types.
