FedEx pilots ratify new labor agreement

FedEx pilots have approved a new collective bargaining agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA).

The agreement received majority support in a ratification vote and will take effect on June 29.

FedEx said the contract covers approximately 5,000 pilots and represents a major milestone for the company’s airline operations.

The company described the agreement as industry-leading and said it supports both its workforce and long-term growth plans.

FedEx thanked the negotiating committees, the National Mediation Board and its mediators for their role in reaching the agreement.

“The ratified agreement recognizes our outstanding crew members while aligning with our long-term growth strategy,” said Richard W. Smith, Chief Operating Officer, International and Chief Executive Officer, Airline.

“This positive milestone ensures a strong future for our pilots, FedEx, and our customers globally.”
