Korean Air has integrated its air cargo services with the Freightos platform, giving freight forwarders direct access to real-time rates, live capacity and eBooking services.

The agreement was announced during Air Cargo Shanghai 2026 following a signing ceremony at Korean Air’s Shanghai office.

The rollout will initially cover major trade lanes from North America and Europe to Asia.

Through the integration, freight forwarders can search, quote and book shipments directly through the Freightos platform.

The move adds a new digital sales channel alongside Korean Air’s existing booking systems.

Korean Air said Freightos will serve as its exclusive launch partner for third-party platform distribution.

The airline aims to improve access to live capacity and real-time pricing while expanding its digital services for freight forwarders.

Jae Dong Eum, Executive Vice President and Head of Cargo Business Division at Korean Air, said digitalisation remains a key priority for the airline’s cargo business.

He said the partnership will deliver a more seamless and efficient digital experience for customers.

Pablo Pinillos, CEO of Freightos, said the integration gives freight forwarders instant access to Korean Air’s capacity and eBooking services, helping improve efficiency across the global supply chain.

The rollout connects Korean Air’s global cargo network to Freightos users through the airline’s fleet of 166 aircraft, including 23 dedicated freighters.

Freight forwarders operating in the activated regions can access Korean Air’s capacity directly through the Freightos platform.
