Dachser reports growth in 2025 despite market headwinds

Dachser increased revenue to around EUR 8.3 billion in the 2025 financial year. Revenue rose 3.1% year over year. The company set a new record.

Tonnage increased to 46.7 million metric tons, up 5.8%. Shipments rose to 86.2 million, up 3.6%.

CEO Burkhard Eling said the market remained difficult. He said European markets stagnated and costs stayed high. He also cited uncertainty from US trade policy.

Dachser grew despite these conditions. Eling said the company gained market share in overland transport. He credited integration, quality, and innovation.

Road Logistics drove most growth. Revenue rose about 7% to EUR 6.9 billion. Shipments increased 3.7%. Tonnage grew 6.2%.

European Logistics revenue passed EUR 5 billion for the first time. It reached EUR 5.1 billion, up 5.9%.

Food Logistics rose 10.1% to over EUR 1.8 billion. Acquisitions supported growth in this segment.

Air & Sea Logistics declined 12.6% to about EUR 1.4 billion. Lower freight rates and weaker demand reduced revenue.

Contract Logistics expanded warehouse capacity. Dachser added space for about 240,000 pallets across 174 sites. Total capacity exceeded four million pallet spaces.

The workforce grew slightly to about 37,500 employees.

Dachser invested about EUR 325 million in 2025. It plans to increase investment to more than EUR 350 million in 2026.

Eling said the company will continue investing in its network. He said Dachser will maintain its strategy despite volatile markets.
