CMA CGM Group has announced a peak season surcharge (PSS) on all cargo moving from or via Taiwan to both the East and West coasts of Canada, effective May 15, 2026, until further notice.
The surcharge applies to all cargo types and is set at USD 1,800 per 20-foot container, USD 2,000 per 40-foot container and USD 2,530 per 45-foot container.
The measure is in line with the carrier’s broader efforts to maintain reliable and efficient services across its network during periods of elevated demand.
