CMA CGM will introduce Early Cancellation Fees for selected SpotOn bookings from 19 September 2026.
The new fee will apply on specific trades when customers cancel or reduce bookings between 15 and 21 days before the estimated time of departure (ETD).
New cancellation structure for SpotOn bookings
Under the updated policy, cancellations made more than 21 days before ETD will remain free of charge across all trades.
For cancellations or booking reductions made between 15 and 21 days before ETD, an Early Cancellation Fee will apply on specific trades.
Cancellations made between seven and 14 days before ETD will remain subject to the standard Cancellation Fee across all trades.
Meanwhile, bookings cancelled less than seven days before ETD will be subject to a No Show Fee across all trades.
CMA CGM said the applicable cancellation and amendment charges are detailed in each SpotOn quotation at the time of the pricing request.
According to the carrier, the change aims to support the priority offered through SpotOn for booking confirmation, equipment release and loading across all legs.
