Tailwind Shipping Lines has introduced a new short-sea connection between Morocco and Portugal through a slot-charter agreement with WEC Lines.
The carrier will market the service as the Casablanca–Setúbal Connection (CSC).
Tailwind will take slots on WEC Lines’ Morocco–Portugal MAPT service. Its allocation will be limited to cargo moving between Casablanca and Setúbal.
Setúbal will function as the hub for Tailwind’s new Casablanca–Setúbal link.
WEC Lines’ full MAPT service also covers Leixões, Vigo and Figueira da Foz, although these calls are not included in Tailwind’s slot allocation.
