SSY unveils new global brand

The global shipbroking firm, which has been known as Simpson Spence Young for over 140 years, will now officially be known as SSY.

The company has also unveiled a new global corporate identity which includes a new logo, a new website (www.ssyglobal.com), a new corporate value system (Trust, Independence, Expertise) and a dedicated online portal (SSY Navigator) for its Research division.

As part of the new corporate identity, SSY has also announced details of its new Trainee Programme which will begin in September 2024. Through the SSY Trainee Programme, successful applicants will get the opportunity to learn from some of the firms’ most experienced broking and research experts over a 12-month period.

Finally, SSY will also start a new global charity partnership with Mercy Ships, an international organisation that uses hospital ships to provide life-changing healthcare to some of the world’s poorest countries.

Throughout 2024, SSY and Mercy Ships will partner on a range of joint charity initiatives in key SSY global locations with the aim of raising both funds and awareness for the charity.
