Following the arrival of ICS Silver Lining, Southern Pearl will transfer to the Intrapac service. The vessel will provide connections to Tuvalu and Wallis and Futuna.

Neptune Pacific said the combined deployment changes would increase available capacity and provide greater flexibility across the Central Pacific.

Capitaine Wallis will also remain in the fleet. The vessel will provide operational support, handle project cargo and offer additional capacity when required across the region.

“This is an important milestone in the continued growth of our regional network, where container shipping plays a vital role in enabling trade,” said Kim A. Kristensen, President of Neptune Pacific.

Kristensen added that the company would continue investing in its network to support the island nations and communities it serves.

Neptune Pacific said further initiatives are under development to strengthen its services and connections across the wider Pacific region.
