Rohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a new logistics center in Szczecin, strengthening its operations in Poland and improving links with Scandinavia and Western Europe.
The new facility combines warehouse and cross-dock terminal functions. It replaces two previous locations, allowing the company to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
The site covers around 15,500 square metres. It includes 12,000 square metres of warehouse space and nearly 3,000 square metres of cross-dock area. The facility offers around 13,000 pallet positions and features 22 loading docks and a 40-metre external ramp.
The hub is located in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, close to key transport routes S3 and A6. This position supports efficient distribution across Poland, Scandinavia and Western Europe, as well as connections to nearby seaports. Operations are set to begin in the second half of May.
“Western Pomerania plays a key role in European supply chains, linking Poland with Scandinavia and Western markets,” said Piotr Zborowski, Member of the Management Board at Rohlig SUUS Logistics. “Demand for comprehensive logistics services continues to grow, and we are expanding to meet these needs.”
The facility offers a wide range of services. These include storage, customs clearance, container consolidation and value-added services such as co-packing and labelling. The company also provides domestic and international transport, including daily groupage connections to Sweden and Norway.
“Our new hub improves service efficiency and supports growing customer demand,” said Łukasz Szymański, Branch Director in Szczecin. “We are planning further investments, including the implementation of an AutoStore system.”
The company also plans to expand customs services and prepare the site for food and pet food handling certification.
The facility includes 1,200 square metres of office space and dedicated areas for drivers. It is designed to meet high sustainability standards and is undergoing BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.
Energy-efficient features include a photovoltaic system, smart energy management and natural lighting solutions. The site also includes electric vehicle charging stations and green areas.
Rohlig SUUS said the new investment will support long-term growth and strengthen its presence in the regional logistics market.
