Rhenus Türkiye has received Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification from the Turkish Ministry of Trade, enhancing its customs and cross-border logistics capabilities.

The certification confirms that the company meets high standards in customs compliance, security, traceability, operational reliability and record management. It supports Rhenus Türkiye’s international freight forwarding and cross-border logistics activities.

The company completed the certification process after approximately three years of reviewing and standardising its operational procedures, internal controls and compliance structures.

Rhenus said the certification will help customers benefit from faster customs procedures, fewer delays and improved shipment predictability. It also strengthens supply chain security and reduces administrative complexity in cross-border trade.

“Global supply chains are becoming more complex and require a high level of reliability and transparency,” said Korcan Tuğrul, Managing Director of Rhenus Türkiye.

“With the AEO certification, we have further strengthened our internal structures and capabilities to meet these expectations. This allows us to provide our customers with more consistent processes and greater confidence when moving goods across borders.”

Rhenus Türkiye said it plans to further expand its customs capabilities and pursue additional customs simplification programmes following the certification.
