Port of Belize selects Octopi’s solution

Octopi, part of Navis and Cargotec Corporation, has announced a new subscription agreement with the Port of Belize Ltd. The Caribbean port chose to partner with Octopi to modernise its operations, bring the terminal up to international standards of operational excellence and upgrade its customer services, according to a statement.

The Port of Belize currently handles 45,000TEU annually and is focused primarily on container and Container Freight Station (CFS) operations, but also handles a significant volume of liquid and dry bulk cargo.

Octopi says its terminal operating system (TOS) provides the ideal combination of functionality, visibility and ease of use needed to make both immediate and lasting impact on the port’s operations. In addition, Octopi’s cloud-based platform supports the port to capture and collate its operational data.
