The Ningbo Zhoushan Port has already surpassed 1 million TEUs from the beginning of the year. The major Chinese container hub handled 1.05 million TEUs from 1 to 10 January, translating to a 10.75% year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, on 10 January, the Ningbo Zhousan Port received two giant container vessels, MSC Zoe and Merry Maersk each with over 18,000 TEU capacity. The following day, a total of 10 container ships were berthed in the port area of Punjab with 45 bridge cranes, 122 gantry cranes and 356 trucks carrying out lifting and transport operations.
