MSC’s Swan service reinstated to North Europe and Poland

MSC’s Swan service, which links main ports in China with North European ports in Benelux, Gdynia, Gdansk and Klaipeda, is being reintroduced as a standalone MSC service.

The first westbound sailing from Asia will start on 9 June.

MSC pointed out that the Swan service will offer one of the fastest transit times between China, the Benelux countries, Poland, and the Baltic countries. Swan will be the first service to offer direct calls from Asia to Gdynia (Poland) and Klaipeda (Lithuania), according to the world’s container line.

“Gdynia is a well-established and flexible option as a Polish container gateway; the port will maintain the same side conditions as Gdansk,” said MSC in a statement.

The full rotation of MSC’s Swan service will be as follows: Qingdao (China) – Ningbo (China) – Yantian (China) – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) – Antwerp (Belgium) – Gdynia (Poland) – Gdansk (Poland) – Klaipeda (Lithuania) – King Abdullah Port (Saudi Arabia)– Singapore – Qingdao
