MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has unveiled Ochna, a new standalone service offering direct and fast connectivity.

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has unveiled Ochna, a new standalone service offering direct and fast connectivity between key ports in China and Vietnam, with the first sailing scheduled to arrive at Dalian on June 19, 2026.

The inaugural voyage will be operated by the MSC Hailey Ann II on voyage HQ625A. The service will follow a fixed rotation covering Dalian, Tianjin Xingang, Qingdao, Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City and back to Dalian.

Ochna is designed to support businesses operating between China and Vietnam in what MSC describes as an increasingly dynamic trade market. The launch adds another direct product to MSC’s Asia network and reinforces the carrier’s focus on efficient and reliable short-sea connectivity within the region.
