MSC and ZIM downsize joint Far East-US East Coast service network

In response to the recent changes in demand for cargo transport from Asia to the United States, MSC and ZIM have decided to adjust the capacity of their Far East-US East Coast network.

As part of this update, the Empire/ZNS and Pelican/ZSL services will be suspended. Additionally, effective from the 19th week of the year, the port rotations of the following services will be updated as follows:



America/ZCP Service: Laem Chabang (Thailand) – Haiphong (Vietnam) – Vung Tau (Vietnam) – Singapore (Singapore) – New York (USA) – Baltimore (USA) – Savannah (USA) – Jacksonville (USA) – Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Singapore (Singapore) – Laem Chabang (Thailand)

Amberjack/ZCP Service: Yantian (China) – Xiamen (China) – Ningbo (China) – Shanghai (China) – Busan (South Korea) – Manzanillo (Panama) – Kingston (Jamaica) – New York (USA) – Baltimore (USA) – Savannah (USA) – Charleston (USA) – Kingston (Jamaica) – Busan (South Korea) – Yantian (China)

Emerald/ZXB Service: Singapore (Singapore) – Vung Tau (Vietnam) – Haiphong (Vietnam) – Yantian (China) – Kaohsiung (Taiwan) – Cartagena (Colombia) – Charleston (USA) – Savannah (USA) – Norfolk (USA) – New York (USA) – Boston (USA) – Singapore (Singapore)

Lone Star/ZGC Service: Singapore (Singapore) – Vung Tau (Vietnam) – Yantian (China) – Ningbo (China) – Shanghai (China) – Busan (South Korea) – Mobile (USA) – Houston (USA) – Tampa (USA) – Miami (USA) – Freeport (Bahamas) – Singapore (Singapore)
