Moeve and Accenture have signed a strategic agreement to accelerate the decarbonization of industrial operations across the value chain.
The partnership strengthens Moeve’s “Moeve decarbonize” initiative, which provides integrated emissions reduction solutions for industrial customers.
Under the agreement, Accenture will contribute its global industrial expertise, digital capabilities and technology solutions to support companies in sectors such as heavy industry with the planning and execution of decarbonization strategies.
Moeve will offer customers a portfolio of lower-emission energy solutions, including renewable electricity, biomethane and HVO, while also helping companies optimize energy costs and maintain competitiveness during the energy transition.
Accenture will support the initiative with digital tools, including generative artificial intelligence, to analyze complex data, model decarbonization scenarios and improve energy transition planning. The collaboration will place particular focus on reducing Scope 3 emissions across industrial supply chains.
Maarten Wetselaar said the agreement strengthens Moeve’s ability to support industrial clients through an energy transition that increasingly requires agility, efficiency and innovation.
Meanwhile, Mercedes Oblanca said industrial decarbonization requires a combination of strategy, technology and disciplined execution.
The partnership follows another agreement announced earlier this year between Moeve and GreenYellow focused on financing and developing energy efficiency projects.
Moeve said the growing network of strategic partnerships aims to provide customers with tailored and comprehensive sustainability solutions across the entire value chain.
