Konecranes wins overhead crane order for PT Tata Metal facility in Indonesia

Konecranes has secured an order to supply nine overhead cranes to PT Tata Metal Lestari for its facility in Sadang, West Java.

The order was placed in February 2026, with deliveries and installation scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

Cranes to support production and warehouse operations

The order includes:

  • Two 30-ton Konecranes CXT overhead cranes
  • One 16-ton CXT overhead crane
  • One 12-ton CXT overhead crane
  • One 10-ton CXT overhead crane
  • Three 10-ton Konecranes S-series overhead cranes
  • One 10-ton CXT cantilever crane

All cranes will be equipped with TRUCONNECT Remote Monitoring technology.

The equipment will support material handling operations throughout the facility, including:

  • Raw material lifting
  • Production handling
  • Warehouse logistics.

Focus on operational efficiency

PT Tata Metal Lestari said the cranes were selected to improve operational reliability and workflow efficiency across the processing center.
