ICTSI Nigeria provides Ogu community with sustainable water systems

Onne Multipurpose Terminal (OMT), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI’s) Nigerian subsidiary, recently turned over three solar-powered water systems to the Ogu community, in order to address the community’s pressing need for access to clean water.

Numerous communities in the Niger Delta region continue to struggle with the lack of access to clean water, according to ICTSI.

Ogu community elders led by Chief Adokiye, Ogu Council of Chiefs chairman, thanked OMT for providing the community with sustainable access to clean water.

ICTSI said in a statement, “Highlighting the project’s impact on their lives, the community pledged to diligently maintain the water systems to ensure their longevity.”
