Hong Kong establishes strategic development Board to reclaim lost shipping ground

Hong Kong is launching a pivotal Maritime and Port Development Board, an industry-led council aimed at bolstering the city’s stature as a global shipping hub.

This strategic move will replace the existing Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board formed in 2016 and serve as a high-level advisory body to guide government policies and long-term maritime strategies.
