
Hapag-Lloyd has announced a temporary adjustment to its CON service, replacing its regular bi-weekly call at Antofagasta, Chile, with Puerto Angamos during the Chilean winter season.
The change takes effect from 3 August 2026 and is intended to maintain schedule reliability. Once the winter arrangement ends, the carrier said the service will resume its regular calls at Antofagasta.
The temporary CON service rotation will be:
Itapoa (Brazil) – Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) – Santos (Brazil) – Rio Grande (Brazil) – San Antonio (Chile) – Callao (Peru) – Guayaquil (Ecuador) – Arica (Chile) – Puerto Angamos (Chile) – San Vicente (Chile).
Hapag-Lloyd has also released the first scheduled calls at Puerto Angamos under the temporary arrangement:
- Maersk Everglades Voyage 628E – ETB 3 August 2026
- Dusseldorf Express Voyage 630E – ETB 17 August 2026
- Maersk Redwood Voyage 632E – ETB 31 August 2026
According to the carrier, the temporary adjustment has been introduced to preserve schedule reliability during the winter season while continuing to serve northern Chile. After the seasonal arrangement concludes, the CON service will return to its regular bi-weekly calls at Antofagasta.
