Hapag-Lloyd applies peak season surcharge from Asia to Tanzania

German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from Asian ports to the port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

The surcharge will apply to all container types, is expected to be effective from 5 May until further notice, and has been set at US$400 per TEU.
