Hapag Lloyd opens new quality service center in Vietnam

Hapag-Lloyd has announced the establishment of a new Quality Service Center (QSC) in South-East Asia as part of its Strategy2023 ambition “to become number one for quality.”

The new service center consists of a business service center in Kuala Lumpur dedicated to customer service, operations and business administration tasks for Vietnam.

The transition to the QSC has begun for all functions with the vessel operations and business administration being completely handled by the QSC, while customer service is in transition that will be completed on 1 October.

“We consider that clustering all these functions under one roof will contribute to a more customer-focused approach,” pointed out the German carrier in a statement.

Hapag-Lloyd noted that the current sales organisations will remain in Vietnam.
