Freightos reported record booking value and higher transaction volumes in the third quarter of 2026, with both measures exceeding management expectations.

The digital freight booking platform handled approximately 494,000 transactions during the quarter, up 15% from a year earlier. This was above the company’s forecast of 481,000 to 490,000 transactions.

Gross Booking Value (GBV) reached a record $437 million, an increase of 30% year over year. Freightos had expected GBV of between $390 million and $397 million.

The figures are preliminary and may change when the company publishes its full financial results.

Freight booking activity continues to grow

Freightos attributed the increase in transactions mainly to customers using its software solutions. These services connect freight forwarders, carriers and shippers through its digital booking network.

The number of active carriers rose to 79, compared with 75 in the previous quarter and 77 a year earlier. The platform also recorded approximately 21,900 unique buyer users, up from 21,100 in the second quarter.

Higher freight rates also contributed to the increase in booking value. According to Freightos, tight capacity and rising fuel costs affected rates during the quarter.

“Our third-quarter performance reflects continued momentum across the Freightos Platform, with transaction volumes and GBV exceeding our expectations,” said Pablo Pinillos, CEO of Freightos.

Full financial results expected in November

Freightos provides digital booking, freight pricing and market intelligence services for international cargo transport.

The company noted that its software solutions account for most of its revenue. Their performance is not fully reflected in the preliminary platform figures.

Freightos will release its complete third-quarter financial results on November 23, 2026.

The company will also provide further details on its software business and overall financial performance.
