Marsa Maroc has completed the entry of CMA Terminals into the capital of Nador Container Terminal (NCT), the concessionaire responsible for the western container terminal at Morocco’s Nador West Med Port.
The transaction was finalised following approval from the relevant authorities. Under the completed ownership structure, Marsa Maroc holds 51% of NCT’s share capital and voting rights, while CMA Terminals owns the remaining 49%.
Marsa Maroc and CMA Terminals, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, signed their partnership agreement for the terminal in October 2025.
The facility will feature 900 metres of quay, an alongside depth of 18 metres and 37.5 hectares of container yard. Its planned annual handling capacity is 1.8 million TEUs.
The western container terminal is scheduled to enter service in 2027.
