CMA CGM implements peak season surcharge from South America East Coast to Europe

Marseille-based box line CMA CGM announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from 1 August to 31 December 2024 (loading date).

The surcharge applies to dry cargo (standard and special equipment) originating from Brazil (excluding Fortaleza, Manaus and Vila do Conde), Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, and destined for North Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic, East Mediterranean, West Mediterranean, and North Africa.

The surcharge will be US$400 per container.
