Circle Group expands logistics digitalization project with Autotrasporti Pigliacelli

Circle Group has signed an agreement with Autotrasporti Pigliacelli S.p.A. to accelerate digitalization across its intermodal logistics operations through the deployment of the Milos® Suite.

The agreement aims to create a more integrated, traceable and efficient logistics model.

The project includes the implementation of a digital infrastructure that connects the company’s transport management system with ports, inland terminals, airports, logistics hubs, rail operators and customer systems.

The platform will support document dematerialization, real-time cargo monitoring and improved operational data management across the supply chain.

Circle Group will deploy several modules, including Milos® TFP (Transport Federative Platform), the Milos® eFTI Platform and dedicated connectors for e-CMR and e-DDT management.

These systems will support full document digitalization and help ensure compliance with European eFTI regulations.

The infrastructure will also provide interoperability through a single integration point between Autotrasporti Pigliacelli’s TMS and the Milos® platform.

The project includes additional functions such as rail operator integration, ERP and TMS connectivity, business intelligence tools and ESG dashboards for monitoring operational performance.

The agreement also introduces fleet telematics integration, ETA forecasting and real-time visibility tools to improve planning and operational efficiency.

“Thanks to the Milos® ecosystem, Autotrasporti Pigliacelli will be able to centralize its operational processes through a modular and scalable model, reducing management complexity and improving efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness,” said Marcello Pigliacelli, Managing Director of Autotrasporti Pigliacelli.

Luca Abatello, CEO of Circle Group, said the project demonstrates the company’s ability to support transport operators in implementing advanced digitalization initiatives.

He added that the agreement aligns with Circle Group’s broader strategy to support a more integrated and sustainable logistics ecosystem.

The project reflects growing demand for digital platforms that improve interoperability, compliance and visibility across increasingly complex logistics networks.
