Chinese shipbuilder delivers second MSC mega container ship

MSC has received the second vessel in a series of 24,116 TEU ultra-large container ships from China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSCC).

The Chinese shipbuilder said that CSSC Hudong-Zhonghua and CSTC delivered the 24,116TEU ultra-large container vessel MSC Celestino Maresca on 23 March.

Earlier in the month, MSC received the first boxship in the series, MSC Tessa.
