CEVA Logistics and BYD have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand their global automotive logistics partnership.
The agreement strengthens cooperation across BYD’s operations in more than 100 countries and supports the electric vehicle manufacturer’s global expansion.
The partnership covers end-to-end automotive logistics, including route planning, capacity allocation, warehousing, distribution, customs coordination, local operations and low-carbon transport solutions.
CEVA will also continue supporting BYD’s transition from finished vehicle exports to a broader global manufacturing network. The logistics provider will manage finished vehicle logistics, inbound manufacturing logistics, overseas distribution, after-sales services and plant supply operations.
At the signing ceremony in Marseille, BYD presented CEVA with its “Best Carrier of the Year 2026” award. The company recognised CEVA’s operational agility, service reliability and support for its global logistics network.
“BYD’s recognition marks an important milestone in our long-standing partnership,” said Mathieu Friedberg, Chief Executive Officer of CEVA Logistics. He added that resilient, sustainable and locally responsive supply chains are becoming increasingly important as the automotive industry evolves.
He Zhiqi, Executive Vice President of BYD Group and Chief Operating Officer of BYD Auto, said the expanded partnership will support the company’s global manufacturing strategy and strengthen local supply chains as BYD continues to expand internationally.
