BNSF Railway and NFI, a leading integrated supply chain solutions provider, have announced a strategic partnership at the future Barstow International Gateway, combining BNSF’s intermodal network with NFI’s logistics expertise to create integrated transportation, warehousing, distribution and transload solutions for customers across North America.
Located in Southern California, Barstow International Gateway is planned as a next-generation integrated logistics hub designed to connect freight moving through the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach with destinations throughout the United States.
The development will combine intermodal infrastructure with logistics park capabilities, enabling customers to streamline freight flows, improve supply chain performance and access major consumer markets through BNSF’s national network.
Through the partnership, customers will benefit from integrated access to port drayage, transportation, warehousing and distribution within a single logistics ecosystem, providing greater efficiency, flexibility and connectivity out of Southern California.
NFI’s broad portfolio of logistics services will complement the capabilities available through the BIG development, helping businesses simplify operations and improve supply chain coordination at scale.
