Asian box lines launch new service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL), ASEAN Sea Line (ASL) and Pacific International Line (PIL) have launched a new service connecting China, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI’s) operation in the Philippines recently received the first vessel of the new service, Danum 175.

The 1,200 TEU boxship called the Port of Subic in the Philippines on 9 June.

The rotation of the South China Vietnam Philippines (SVP) service is Shekou (China) – Nansha (China) – Xiamen (China) – Manila North (Philippines) – Subic (Philippines) – Xiamen (China) – Shekou (China) – Nansha – Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) – Shekou
