Argo Anchor launches operations in Dubai backed by Indian shipping firm’s investment

Argo Anchor Shipping Service LLC, a new force in the shipping industry, has officially launched its operations in Dubai, UAE backed by a significant investment from India-based shipping agency Lancer Container Limited.

This collaboration signals the entry of Argo Anchor Shipping Service into the NVOCC and freight forwarding market, with plans to commandeer 5,000 TEUs by the end of 2023 and 15,000 TEUs by the end of the next year.

This strategic alliance underscores mutual confidence and a shared commitment to transforming the NVOCC landscape,” said Argo Anchor, which specialises in a comprehensive range of services, including NVOCC, freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation.

The company has chosen Dubai as its base aiming to leverage the city’s world-class infrastructure and strategic location and wanting to be an important player in Dubai’s shipping industry.
